Know exactly what the product does—and what it does not.
DueCue is designed to be useful without pretending it has access or certainty that it does not have.
How does DueCue find my subscriptions?
It does not find them automatically. You add subscriptions and free trials manually, which keeps the current product independent from bank and inbox access.
Does it connect to my bank, Gmail, or another inbox?
No. Bank connections, Gmail and email forwarding integrations are not part of the current product.
How are reminder dates chosen?
They are calculated from the event date, explicit reminder offsets, a preferred local delivery hour, and your IANA timezone. AI does not decide when a reminder is sent.
Can DueCue cancel a subscription for me?
No. It never signs in to a merchant account or claims a cancellation happened because you opened a link. You complete cancellation with the merchant and then record the outcome.
Where do cancellation instructions come from?
The directory can contain methods reviewed against official public merchant guidance. If the merchant match is uncertain or no verified method is available, the product shows a safe no-instructions state instead of guessing.
What if I do not know the amount?
Leave it blank. DueCue can still track known dates and status without pretending the cost is known.
Are monthly and yearly totals exact?
No. They are labeled estimates, normalized from the recurring records you entered. Different currencies remain separate rather than being silently converted.
What happens when I plan to cancel?
Renewal reminders continue, because intent is not the same as cancellation. After you explicitly mark the subscription cancelled, future renewal reminders stop while history remains.
Does the current app charge me for using it?
Customer payments and product billing are not implemented in the current milestone. This page does not make a future pricing promise.
